1982 Black Jeep CJ-7 Laredo, Hard-Top, 5-speed Manual

Major restore with significant body, engine and vehicle repair. Reason for sale; retired owner is leaving the Jeep community to pursue other interests.

Body, Wheels and Paint: Professional "like-new" black exterior paint & graphics with body work update. New front and rear tube bumpers for retro update restore. New front lamps and assembly with flood lights. New 5" wheel flares, front and back. New windshield frame. New Toyo 31'x10" 50R15LT Tires and Pro Comp 51 Series Rock Crawler 15x8 Black Steel Wheels with spare with extension bracket for tailgate fit. hard top with new black roof textured shell. New glass windows and moulding all-around, except for driver passenger door(s) glass. New dash-pad and storage/drink console between front seats. New seat frames, and seat belts. All seats appear to be original with new black/grey seat covers. Complete grey carpet flooring kit and new black jeep foot pads. Rear swing away tire carrier (with spare tire extender). Approximately $1,000 in spare parts (high-end bumper and much more) and add-ins (black trail shovel and car cover).

Engine: Replaced engine with rebuilt Promar AM258-02 4.2 AMC long-block in 2018. Only 500 miles on this engine (total vehicle mileage is 258,630).

Transmission & Lift Kit: 5-speed manual and vehicle may have a 2.5" lift kit.

Radio/Entertainment: Buyer can make their own choice and install.

Major Repairs - 2021:
Ball joints, inner seals and U joints replaced. Removed and replaced steering stabilizer and gear. New ignition switch, door locks, headlights / fog lights and exhaust intake manifold.

Major Repairs - 2024/25: New Carburetor, distributor, tune-up and new catalytic converter.
